Open People to see organization members, their email addresses, roles, statuses, and departure dates. Use the smallest role that lets each person do their work.
Invite a user
- Select Invite user.
- Enter the person's Email.
- Choose an available Role.
- If relevant, select This person is leaving and enter their Last working day.
- Select Send invite.
The roles available in the invitation depend on your own organization role:
| Your role | Roles you can invite |
|---|---|
| Admin | Employee, Manager, HR, Admin |
| HR | Employee, Manager |
| Manager | Employee |
| Employee | No organization invitations |
An invitation may appear with Invited status until accepted. Use Resend invite when available if the recipient needs another invitation, after checking the address.
Change an organization role
Administrators can use Edit role for another eligible, non-invited user, choose the role, and select Save. You cannot use this control to change your own role.
Give administrator access deliberately. It is for organization administration, not a shortcut for adding someone to a handover.
Add people to the right case
Organization membership and case participation are separate. Inside a case, use Users → Add user and select a case role for the person's contribution. A colleague contributing to one handover does not need an organization administrator role.
If someone cannot access the expected work, check the account email, invitation status, organization role, and case participation before sending another link.
Company sign-in
Organization administrators can connect Okta or Microsoft Entra ID SSO after inviting members. SSO does not create users or replace the invitation and email-verification steps, and it preserves existing Flamekeeper roles.
For upcoming transitions, continue with departure dates. Clear roles help managers coordinate knowledge transfer while keeping administration responsibilities intentional.
