AI-assisted video interviews

Request a scheduled Google Meet interview and review the transcript, summary, and knowledge captured for a handover.

Video interviews help capture knowledge through a 30-minute conversation with an AI interviewer. Interview scheduling is being set up and may not yet be available in your organization.

Request an interview

Open a handover case and select Users. For an eligible participant, select Schedule interview to send a scheduling email. When adding case users, you can instead select Send an interview scheduling email before choosing Add users. If the controls are disabled, interview scheduling is not available yet or the selected role is not eligible.

The participant chooses a time in their time zone, at least 15 minutes ahead and within the next 14 days. They can add the meeting to Google Calendar, Outlook, or their calendar app. Different participants can choose the same time; each gets a separate meeting.

During the conversation

The participant joins a Google Meet with the AI interviewer. Before booking, they are told the conversation is AI-assisted and will be transcribed. They should follow your organization's guidance on what information is appropriate to share.

Each meeting has a unique link. Anyone with that link can join without approval, so treat it as private and avoid forwarding it. See Safe knowledge sharing for more guidance.

Review the interview

In the case's Users tab, open Interviews to check the scheduling and meeting status, the recorded duration, and any information about a problem. Open an interview to see its transcript and, when available, a short summary and a score for handover completeness. The score describes the knowledge captured; it is not an employee performance rating.

Review the captured knowledge for accuracy and follow up on gaps. A missing participant or an interrupted interview may need attention before the handover is complete.

Keep the knowledge. Carry on with the work.
